Super Mario PC Kinect
Playing Super Mario Bros 2011 with Kinect on your PC!

We have been around four weeks (since 2th December 2010) with Kinect in the market and so far Microsoft seems satisfied with the sales results you are getting. No fewer than 2.8 million units sold so far since its launch around the world. Little seems to care that some people have displayed their creativity and put to work to make all sorts of experiments with the sophisticated peripheral. From robotics to use it to prepare to work with other systems and emulators.

An amateur has made the PC to recognize the movements of Kinect to serve as a command to play Super Mario Bros. The invention lets you get under the skin of the plumber in his first NES adventure, making you run and jump with their own movements.
It is merely an experiment but we do have an idea of how far Kinect if game developers decide to go for this line. Can you imagine running at the speed of Sonic or investigate mysterious temples in the skin of Lara Croft? The future is much closer than it seems.
