Final Fantasy 2011 PC

Final Fantasy 2011 PC

Analysis: Final Fantasy XIV - 2011 PC Game

Deep, epic, persistent, artistic … The new online travel the Final Fantasy universe.
Managed to create a large base of loyal users with Final Fantasy XI, and are now back to the fray with a new massively multiplayer role-playing online, however, is far from the expected target despite very good manners.
They may have been the rush or just Square Enix has not found the perfect approach for Final Fantasy XIV, but what is clear is that currently, despite being a title with a lot of potential in it, the new final fantasy the company does not meet expectations. Some related to a significant lack of content, others, the more severe, design errors that seem to lie at this point, especially when I had a great foundation forged after years of working with Final Fantasy XI and its expansions. But where is the problem with this new proposal from Square Enix?
On the base, FF 2011 XIV is the foundation of most concerning gender, but with enough personal touch to turn differs from the rest. So, our adventure will begin after creating the avatar that will represent us, meeting here with a remarkable variety of options, but nothing unusual. Five distinct races, each with its own peculiarities, and the classic styles of combat professions and in some cases merge both-will help us create the kind of adventure you want, what we should add also options to change its appearance. In this case we speak of too many alternatives, although it is true that the options are not sufficient to meet a host of characters cloned at the beginning of the adventure. And this step, we enter the region Eorzea.
The difficult process of adaptation
A beautiful introduction will mark the house we will welcome this fantasy world of Final Fantasy XIV, but soon we will leave him because of the hardness of the title in its early stages, mainly by not having a good tutorial that will described to us bit by bit how to play, or at least mark the route to follow to achieve the objectives. So, the adventure can begin in three different ways depending on city chosen in the process of creating the avatar, but what will never change is that feeling of not knowing what to do, where to go, nor how to operate certain aspects the game. And this is without doubt one of its most serious problems.
For one thing stands out negatively rather cumbersome menu system and misdirected that has the title “Why do we say this? Suffice to say that we can spend a couple of minutes by moving the mapping and see how we are constantly carries over and over again to the point of origin without knowing exactly why. What happens? We should talk to a specific NPC to continue, something that never becomes clear until you open a main menu, you click on the log window, and go and read the description of the mission entrusted to you. As you can imagine, this type of design decisions come to be very frustrating.
Eorzea is a beautiful region in which a pleasure lost, but we miss that encourage more content to do just that.
And we do not understand how it is possible to access the daily inventory or we should we should go before a general menu which, moreover, works rather slowly, when having a keyboard shortcut should be on the agenda. And this is another element that we did not like anything. FF XIV seems designed to maximize the options offered by a driver, but not a combo with many options as the mouse and keyboard.
These design flaws also move the trading system of the title, which is a real mess. And what is that Square Enix has not made even a simple search of objects that allows us to find the desired item without having to go through many lists and lists of objects, which is foolishly lose time while our level of frustration increases rapidly. Nor are the auction houses as such, but have created trade zones in which we move from one place to another looking at the endless lists of objects that are presented there. Not to mention the fact and move through the stages, which can also be very hard for not having clearly identified at all sites in each area on the maps: what is sold here? What does this brand? Where is supposed to be our next target? Of course, in the latter, as we explore the places and points of interest to know the best thing, but it is still an issue that will back a large number of users, especially if we consider that Square Enix wanted make it a suitable title for all public-and not just fans of the genre.
The game’s menu system seems a nuisance: it is poorly focused, works too slowly and foremost, is unclear.
This lack of information is worrisome at all levels because, as we say, gives the feeling that Square Enix has left everything to the method “Taste and see” when presenting a game with interesting new features like the FF XIV, as normally would have been to create a short tutorial that was giving details about how the game works and how to take advantage of their options. And we could spend more and more lines talking about this problem, either in the section of the missions, it is sometimes difficult to figure out what to do, the trading system which we have already spoken, or in all respects to the system professions of the title, which will be discussed later. And it seems that it is done so thoroughly, if not, how can we explain that even in the account registration system we have encountered problems once again delve into a menu system cumbersome and unfriendly.
Poor content
FFXIV has a large number of missions and also allows us to develop effectively selected professions at the start of the adventure, but still gives the feeling that something is missing. The game is fun, missions are often very good, and the regions through which we move always have something that encourages me to explore … and despite that, we still lack something. Well we could talk about their dungeons, where there is little to do, or those regions lost amid the huge maps that shows the title in which there is nothing to do. All looks nice aesthetically, but when you have a challenge to face, or not even worth you get to that region, why go then?
We understand that gradually improve this facet of the game, but today the vast world of Eorzea presents little content, very empty inside. It is also true that the lack of a PvP (player vs. player) helps to increase this feeling, but since Square Enix has already stated on more than one occasion that the idea is to implement the system later. However, since there is no PvP, what less than enhance the PvE (Player vs. Environment) group and support the creation of huge communities of users, and at this point we do not understand the user interface to add friends to our list or just to locate them in the game so hard and very intuitive.
The cut scenes will not stop succession throughout the game as usual in Square Enix.
At the technical level there is no doubt that Final Fantasy XIV is one of the strongest titles of the genre and a whole audiovisual show, thanks in large part to the superb art work done by the designers at Square Enix. In this sense, we are left no doubt with the design of cities for which we move, mix of classic literary elements of fantasy with touches of science fiction. They are also very different from each other, which favors to give coherence to the fragmented world in many diverse realms.
The problem, as we noted earlier, is that outside of these cities are opposite feelings. It is true that the majesty of the environment is there, and either walking or walking down deserted forests we will always have the feeling that we move through a vast and beautiful world (see for example the towers of a great city in the distance as we around an arid desert is priceless), but in the end, these places are too clone each other, and offer little variety in it. As we said, we can spend several minutes walking without really seeing anything of interest.
Of course, all this show has its cost: we need a really powerful computer to enjoy the game in all its glory, and yet the frame rate per second will not walk the whole over, which means that Square Enix will have to further optimize the graphics engine to make it more friendly to a more compatible. At least, yes, we may be eliminating a number of graphics options for, without sacrificing graphics quality over FF XIV, his fluency is much better in the face of less powerful computers, but obviously a team of mid-low range will not to operate as it should play.
The game servers are beginning to have great movement and they keep all sorts of adventures succeed.
Finally, in regard to the sound, the melodies are again one of the strengths of the game for being very nice and match well with the places where we live. Their main problem is that eventually can become somewhat repetitive if we had a good time in the same place, although this is a lesser evil, of course. Nor can we forget the English dub, which is fine, although it could have made an effort to bring the game with Castilian texts, something that certainly cast back to a very large number of users, especially if we over note that this is a hard title and unclear when explaining their rationale playable.
Final Fantasy PC Game XIV Rating
A rough diamond coated by a thick layer of dust that Square Enix should be cleaned quickly. With this metaphor we think it can perfectly describe what is Final Fantasy XIV. And this is a good game that is completely untapped potential by its developers. Missing content is playable and inexplicably so vague with its interface and support system that the game is far from the main references of the genre, and well polished repeat that could stand up to any MMORPG of the moment. Therefore, we believe that the best thing now is to follow the progress of the project to see how it progresses, because as it stands now, going into Eorzea may involve not never want to return to this region, however much better then the game.
